Matt Martin
Matt is the Owner and Master Barber. He has 18 years experience as a diverse, trendsetting barber. His passion for barbering made him pursue an Instructor career. So not only does he strive to give the best haircuts, He also strives to teach with knowledge and wisdom from years of barbering.
Kara Martin
Kara has been an Aesthetician for 19 years. She has extensive knowledge of skin and what service/products is needed for each client. She is certified with PCA for Chemical Peels, as well as certified for Lash Extensions and Lash Lifts. She also offers full body waxing.
Bekka Vergho
Bekka is a licensed Barber. She came through Tuff Anchor Barbershop as a Barber Apprentice under Matt's OJT program. She has excelled in skill as she has applied the knowledge passed onto her. She is patient and relational. She is also certified in Braiding.
Franky Hernandez
Franky is our current OJT student. But don't let that fool you, he has been cutting for years. He is a retired Army Combat Veteran that decided to pursue Barbing as a career. He has passion and skill.
Our Story
Matt and Kara are West Virginia natives who moved to South Carolina in August 2018. Matt's passion for the barbering industry, with a diverse culture and cuts, made them open their shop in October 2018. In June 2019, they decided to add Kara's expertise to add men's grooming, as well as the women's, for those who come in with their husband and son(s).
